Many changes are happening in room B3 at Whitman Elementary.
This week in B3 we will begin the rotation schedule for 5th grade math. They will deploy to the Watsons for an hour daily for instruction.
Writing
We have just begun our second writing cycle, nonfiction. This week we will continue to explore topics that interest us and that we are passionate about. I will be modeling the process with them through my own process of collecting ideas, choosing, developing, drafting, revising, editing and finally, publishing.
Reading
We will continue to read a nonfiction text closely to help develop critical thinking skills. For a copy of this week's article, go to mybigcampus.com.
